Your Privacy Matters.

When you use FieldForge, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account identity. Your name and mobile phone number, used to sign in (verified by SMS code).
• Business information, company name, phone number, hourly rate, and tax rate provided during signup.
• Contact information, name and email address provided on support forms.
• Voice recordings, voice notes recorded in the app. These are sent to our FieldForge transcription service (Groq), converted to text, and immediately discarded. We do not store audio files.
• Job & invoice data, customer name, job description, parts used, labor amounts, and payment status extracted from your voice notes.
• Photos & signatures, job photos, receipts, and customer signatures you capture in the app.
• Payment data: Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never store card numbers or banking details. Those are handled entirely by Stripe.

• Generate PDF invoices from your voice descriptions
• Send invoices and payment links to your customers via SMS
• Manage your subscription and process payments through Stripe
• Provide customer support
• Improve service reliability and AI accuracy
• Comply with legal obligations

FieldForge relies on the following third-party providers. Each is bound by their own privacy policy:

• Stripe, payment processing and subscription management
• Groq: FieldForge voice transcription and invoice parsing (audio is processed in-transit and not retained)
• SignalWire: SMS delivery for invoices, payment links, and sign-in codes
• Resend, email delivery for invoices and account verification
• Google Sheets, per-company storage for jobs, technicians, and parts pricing
• Cloudflare, app and website hosting, storage, and security

• Stripe, payment processing and subscription management
• Groq: AI voice transcription and invoice parsing (audio is processed in-transit and not retained)
• SignalWire: SMS delivery for invoices and payment links
• Google Sheets, per-company storage for jobs, technicians, and parts pricing
• Cloudflare, website hosting and security
• the app, bot delivery platform

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only:

• With the third-party services listed above, to the minimum extent needed to operate FieldForge
• When required by law, court order, or government authority
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets (you will be notified in advance)

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for 90 days before deleting it from our active systems.

Invoice and job records stored in your linked Google Sheet remain in your Google account. You own and control that data. We do not delete it on your behalf.

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Know, request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to Delete, request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale. We do not sell personal information. No opt-out is required.
• Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

To submit a request, email contact@usefieldforge.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Our website uses browser localStorage only to remember your language preference (EN or ES). This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections, access controls, and regular security reviews. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

FieldForge is intended for business use by individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy here with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of FieldForge after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
